Terms of service
Date:
1. Who provides the service
AAIP · Switzerland · kontakt@steuerfertig.ch. Steuerfertig is a product of AAIP.
No VAT. Sole proprietorship, not entered in the commercial register and with no VAT number: the 100'000-franc annual turnover threshold is not reached (art. 10 para. 2 let. a Swiss VAT Act). CHF 49 is therefore the final price; no tax is added.
Postal address. The contact channel is email. The postal address is provided in writing, on request, before the contract is concluded.
2. What the contract covers
2.1 Steuerfertig prepares or checks the Swiss tax return of private individuals for the canton of Zurich, based on the documents you provide, with a second independent AI check of every item and a sealed verification protocol (digital fingerprint / hash).
2.2 Not covered: foreign tax returns; advice on the tax obligations of other countries; tax planning; representation before authorities; and filing the return, which you do yourself.
2.3 We give no advice that is reserved to regulated professions in your country of residence.
3. How the contract is concluded
3.1 What is shown on this website is not a binding offer. The contract is concluded when Steuerfertig confirms the engagement in writing (email).
3.2 Free result: how many items were checked and how many need attention is communicated at no cost. Only the full, sealed report is chargeable (cl. 4).
4. Price and payment
4.1 CHF 49 per tax return, fixed price and final price: nothing is added, in particular no VAT (cl. 1). No subscription, no hourly billing.
4.2 Payment is against invoice, before the full report is released, unless agreed otherwise.
4.3 If your case turns out to be exceptionally complex, we tell you before you pay; no fixed-price contract is then concluded.
5. What you contribute
5.1 You provide complete and truthful documents. We check every item against your supporting documents: what is not supported is not declared.
5.2 You check the result, confirm it and file the return yourself. Responsibility towards the tax authority for the filed return remains yours.
6. Limits of the service
6.1 The work is AI-assisted with a second, independent check. No tax advantage and no particular assessment is promised.
6.2 There is no automated individual decision within the meaning of art. 21 revFADP: the result is given to you for review (privacy policy, cl. 3).
7. Right of withdrawal: 14 days
7.1 You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period starts on the day the contract is concluded (cl. 3.1).
7.2 A clear statement to kontakt@steuerfertig.ch is enough (template in cl. 7.6). Sending it within the period is enough to meet the deadline.
7.3 On withdrawal, payments already made are refunded without delay and at the latest within 14 days.
7.4 You can voluntarily waive this period in advance. A separate checkbox is offered when you send your documents: ticking it expressly requests that processing start immediately and acknowledges losing the right of withdrawal once the service is fully performed (art. 16 let. a of Directive 2011/83/EU). Without that box ticked, you keep the full 14 days, even if the report has already been delivered.
7.5 Customers resident in Switzerland: Swiss law provides no statutory right of withdrawal in distance selling; Steuerfertig grants it by contract on the same terms.
7.6 Withdrawal template
I hereby withdraw from the contract for the preparation or checking of my tax return.

8. Liability
8.1 Steuerfertig is liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, and for personal injury. In case of slight negligence, liability is limited, as far as the law allows, to the foreseeable damage typical of this type of contract and at most to five times the value of the engagement.
8.2 We are not liable for the consequences of incomplete or false information from you, for items you keep despite our objection, or for delays caused by missing supporting documents.
8.3 Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected; where a limitation under cl. 8.1 is invalid there, statutory liability applies.
9. Your data
9.1 The privacy policy applies. On request we conclude a data processing agreement under art. 9 revFADP.
9.2 Engagement documents are kept for the duration of the engagement and deleted 30 days after it closes; earlier on request.
9.3 Both sides treat information received as confidential.
10. Applicable law, place of jurisdiction
10.1 Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
10.2 The place of jurisdiction is the provider's seat in Switzerland. For consumers resident in the EU, the mandatory jurisdiction rules of the Lugano Convention (art. 15–17) remain unaffected: they may sue and be sued at their domicile.
10.3 Before any proceedings: please write to kontakt@steuerfertig.ch first. There is no obligation to take part in an online dispute resolution platform; the EU ODR platform has been out of service since July 2025.
11. Changes
The version published at the time the contract is concluded applies. Changes are versioned, not overwritten. Version v1 — 8 August 2026.
